Age Concern Peterborough (ACP) is a local, independent organisation and is both a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. The charity works with & for older people in Peterborough and the surrounding area.

ACP is a member of the Age Concern federation and must work to achieve the quality standards that are a condition of membership. We are a non-profit making organisation directed by a board of voluntary Trustees. ACP has over 200 paid staff and volunteers to manage the charity's work and to deliver services.

Age Concern Peterborough announces; The BIG Knit 2010

Once again The BIG Knit is going ahead. This year and we are asking all loyal supporters and keen knitters to get busy with their needles and produce lots of little hats for Innocent Smoothie bottles. The charity receives a donation of 25p for every hatted bottle sold and funds raised from the 2010 campaign will go to fund winter warmth projects.

You can even help if you don’t knit. You can donate wool or your time to help us finish and pack them ready for distribution!

The cut off date for hats to reach us is 18th September. Please contact reception at Age Concern Peterborough [01733 564185] for a pattern if you wish to collect one have one sent to your direct.

Age Concern Peterborough Business Plan 2010 to 2013 - Executive Summary

A copy of the Executive Summary of the recently agreed three year Business Plan for ACP is attached for your information. We are delighted to publish this plan which sets out our targets. We are planning significant growth in some of our key services like Befriending and Practical Services in the homes so that we can better support the older people in Peterborough.
